Why Americas Media Promotes Gloom And Doom NewsLet me start off with saying that this article is by no means is it meant to engage anyone in a battle of scientific point proving. Also let me lay the groundwork for whom and what my own beliefs are, regarding the topic “Dooms Day”. I’m a middle aged man of 45 years of age. I have been a writer promoting animal conservation and its many facets. I have traveled the United States and looked at many of the state’s natural resources and supposed effected resources that the media has claimed are so depleted. I’m also a Christian man who believes in Jesus Christ and all the events foretold in the Bible.
So now that we have all that ground work laid, lets discus the topic of “Dooms Day”. Dooms Day, Armageddon, end of days and many other names that the media has declared is just around the corner, is the greatest hoax ever played on Man. Why would I say such a thing? It’s simply a statement of the truth! In the last 20 years are media has made fantastic leaps and advances in technology. The technology of today is far superior from 30 years ago. An example being, a computer of 30 years ago would be as large as the Empire State Building to do the same job that a laptop does today. Technology has blossomed.
Media however has taken the technology to a new level and used it to spread panic, lies, and many other negative things about the world we live in. The constant report of wars and rumors’ of wars has caused the American people to believe that these events are on the increase so drastically and there is no hope for peace. This is far from the truth! We as an American people have always experienced wars and rumors’ of being conquered. The real truth is there are no more wars going on now than there has been all along in American history. Actually there is less wars being actively fought, and there are by far less casualties than 30-100 years ago. The only thing that has changed is this.
Mankind has learned to put technology into each and every American home. The Technology of today allows for a broadcast signal to be beamed directly to each and every ear that wishes to hear. People are just now more aware of what’s going on in their world. People believe because this news is seen by them that it is a new event. Not so! It’s a lie and it does nothing more than promote panic, bad decisions and a constant way to keep the ratings high for the broadcasting channels relaying this negative news.
It truly gets down to one thing. America has bought into this concept and the media is cashing in on its fear of the “End of Days”. It’s pretty sad to realize this as a truth. When a News team is able to get access to every part of the world and use the media as a weapon that serves up a dish of gloom we fellow Americans dash in for the feast. Here’s a question, with all the wonderful things being done, such as the homeless housed, the poor clothed, the new species of animals found every day why doesn’t American Media beam that news into your front room, and get you and I just as excited about those things? Well here’s the answer. The telling of those types of events doesn’t generate near as much revenue and viewers, the end result are that there is no were near as much revenue for American Media Producers. Are you getting the picture here? The media sells gloom and doom. There is only a small venue for the news of Peace, love and joy. Times have changed and our world has been deceived by the ones they watch and trust to have their morning coffee with, Will it be the news of World War 3 or will the epidemic of a new disease be on the rise and ready to kill all mankind tomorrow? It probably will be all those and more. Some may say that their position on these things and events are religious. I believe that if one makes that claim and says that all these news of wars, death and negativity are foretold in the Bible to be signs of the end times. I would say that they are really brand new to American History and the events that have been going on all along for over 200 years. With the same Christian convictions I would say remember what the Bible says about the end times, “no man knows the day of the coming of the Lord only God Almighty “. So with all this said, wake up world look around and realize it’s all been going on a lot longer than you thought! Also here is a word for your consideration and thought.
